Just an FYI. I priced a new seat for my D15 as my bottom pan was trashed. Got sticker shock from dealer for seat from Agco at $480 placed on stock order. Ordered seat through Rural King for $242.97 with free shipping. Seat delivered today drop shipped directly from K & M mfg. Black and white embossed just like the original. Looks awesome.

Some vendors here carry the seat pans and cushions as well. They are the first place I usually check. I would avoid AGCO for sure on items like this based on price alone! I don't really like e-bay for this stuff either. I've seen lots of crappy looking sh*t that gets passed off as "just like the original" for dirt cheap prices.

Actually I was looking at original pan seat full assembly from parts tractors on ebay. I like the old pan seats and am debating getting one for another non ac tractor I have that could use a better ride. Something I need to look at to see if it will fit where I want it.

Rebuilding the suspension with new pins and bushings would go a long way for improving the ride for sure. Doesn't cost a lot, just need time, a hot wrench and a big hammer to get the old pins out.

[/QUOTE Cheapest vendor price I saw was close to $350 and one vendor wanted $128 for the pan alone. I am going to order one more from RK for my D17 as the pan on it needs some work (blast, fix crack and paint). I have not found a better seat for the money. |

I need a seat for my 175. It has the 3/4 square steel frame with armrest. The whole seat assembly can flip forward. Anyone went down this road lately?

See if you can order the 175 seat through Rural King, cheaper than going direct to K & M mfg. also, I think its available through hy-capacity.

Not sure of their price, but try Speer cushion, CO, or some other western state...

Speer's website says they have rebuild able cores sometimes. I'll have to call and see what that's about. I got a very similar seat for my 200 at Tractor Supply. I really don't need or want the flip capability.
