 Topic: Allis Chalmers D crankshaft

I posted earlier looking for a Model D, WD-45 powered crankshaft. The tractor and grader crankshafts are different as the grader shaft does not use the single hole for the single puley mount, but uses a triple pulley and requires a Woodruff key and the end of the shaft drilled and tapped to 5/8-18 NF thread. Our shaft is cracked at the #1 crankshaft throw radius. AC part number is 70230003. Please advise if you have a crankshaft. The old number from the book is a226532 and the casting number on the shaft is 226535. |

took motor out shaft would have yo be ground as it is still in motor and had water init

I was contacted by a gentleman from Missouri in July. He had a crankshaft and also arranged delivery to me. It has been re-ground and is ready to bo back into the grader. Thanks for the note.
