What items fit each model? From what I can tell most parts are interchangeable, but for instance would a CA carb work on a B?
Can the rear PTO unit from a CA work on a B? I'm not needing anything but it would be nice to know when I run across something if it would work or not.

If I remember right....
The only difference other than the front end on the B/C is the width of the final drives. Most parts interchange between models. I belive the PTO stuff will bolt on. Not sure on carbs if it is a direct swap.
I am sure someone will be here soon to tell yta exactly what you need to know!

You can use the MS carburetor on the B's and C's with some tweaking. The hydraulic pump on the CA has three pistons and the B's and C's have two. I never tried to or measured to try put a CA power take off casting to the B/C transmission. If they interchanged it could be done by changing the complete units. I have two CA's with the engines off out back but have no idea if or when I will get them in to put them together. A lot of switching going on out there so someone might know for sure.

As said above the B-C are most compatibable with the exception of the front wheel assembly and the wider rear wheels. Basically the C is two row tractor and the B is a one row tractor. Engine, PTO, torque tube, brakes, are basically the same.
The CA presents more of a problem since the rear end is all new with a four speed, constant mesh, transmission, the hand clutch, the operator platform, four plunger tracton booster hys system and different PTO. CA and B-C engine is basically the same with some "tweaking" such as higher RPM's and roto caps on the valves.
Best I can think of from memory.
Good Luck!

Seems like the G had a creeper gear option, does that mean the G creeper gear would fit a B?

I put ca carb on B .Hole spacing about 1/4in deffernt. Engine wants to surge but with load it smooths out. Little to much fuel.

A C rad shroud will fit a B, but a B shroud won't fit a C without cutting a notch in the bottom of the left side. You might have trouble swapping steering gearboxes unless you can flip the arm up for a C and down for a B. CA has mounting holes in front for cultivator bracket where C and B don't.

To further the thoughts of a B-C transmission with the G. Yes, the B-C transmission will fit the G, however, the creeper gear is in a housing in front of the transmission with a shifter fork that comes into the gear pattern of the G. I really don't think that particular item would interchange.
Good Luck!

what you need is a CA 4 speed and pto housing to put on your B final drives. Always wanted a B that is much narrower than the CA, but with the 4 speed and better hydraulics of the CA.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

since it was made over a long period, the B changed quite a bit over the years. Mine was a 51 model, built alongside the CA and WD. It had CA style torque tube with extra cultivator bosses, also starter and throttle setup like CA and bullet light on fender.

Here is a great reference re: the B, C, and CA. You will need MS Word or equivalent to open:

The special low/creeper gear housing of the G bolts on where the torque tube of the B & C bolts on.
Will the torque tube of the CA bolt on to the transmission of the B C? Or put another way. Will the transmission and rear end of a CA bolt to the torque tube of a B or C? Dusty
