Ive removed the valvr from the pump body. The adjusting screw and spring with the valve ball are out. The issue Im having is after removing both sna rings I can only get the cam shaft out about 1/2", just enough for the other valve ball to come out.

Am I missing something? I assumed to would slide out. I have been using a small socket and banging it from the back side, but still it isnt budging no more than 1/2". Any idea would be great. I really wanna get my hydraulics working.

I assume you are talking the hold position off a CA or WD/WD45. If so only 2 orings on the cam assembly. Should slide right out after the snap rings are off.The other ball you mention sounds like the detent ball for the handle.

If it's a WD-45, I just replaced the O-rings in mine a few weeks ago.
It did come apart with some difficulty and I used a brass drift to help it along.
This had not been disaassembled in over 50 years.
