How many out there replace self locking rod bolt nuts every time you rebuild a engine? And how about the wear on them every time you tighten them to check clearance. Just wondering how other people handle it, thanks.

If a nut is torqued it should never come loose. That said,if a bolt stretches then the nut can loosen. Would rather replace bolt over nut.  MACK
