Am putting my 1937 WC back together. I've got 4 long studs and 8 shorter studs for bolting the cylinder head to the block. The exploded parts manual only shows where one of the long studs goes. Where do the other 3 go?
Thanks!

I believe the 4 long ones go along the manifold side and are the ones outside the valve cover that hold the coolant piping onto the head as well. I am in the middle of a WC restoration and I will see if I can get some pics of mine with the head off an studs still in.

You can see the four along the left/manifold side of the engine. |
