If you don´t have any ideas where to go on vacation, On septembre 12th Bert Schoo and his family held the 7th Allis-Chalmers show on his farm. It´s a once in a 5 year show. We will be there with our tractors and some equipment to work on the land.

On his site you will find more information about this day and show.

Wish I could.  One of my favorite memories is visiting the Netherlands - especially Amsterdam - when I was in the Army 1956.  Lovely country.  People very friendly to a Yank GI out of place.
Wish it were possible.
Have a GREAT SHOW!
You have a wonderful country.  Give my kindest remembrances to all.
Good Luck!

Johan -
I have a trip scheduled for late August, I was thinking of stopping by the Almelo office.  If the trip slips a week or two, I'll keep you posted.

Johan, would love to make the trip back but just left there two days ago. We did go and tour the worlds largest flower market which was something to see. We could not believe how big that place is and how many people worked there. Great country and friendly people. Will go back when we can. Please post pics if you can.

Johan, we were in your beautiful country in late April. Spent 4 days in Amsterdam before boarding a river cruise. I have a model builder/toy collector friend who lives in Swifterbant that showed us the tulips fields one day. We also were at the antique tractor show where the high lift accident happened while we were there. I sent him the link to the AC show and he said he would try to attend. Armand

The wife and I spent 3 weeks in the Netherlands back in 07. I loved it, such a pretty country. I was amazed that the molens were run on a regular basis. very cool . They respect their history much more than us Americans do.

I'd go back in a flash but the wife is tired of air travel.

When you come again to the Netherlands, please give a call. I will show you a Dutch windmill. I'm a miller as volanteer. I have my own mill and offcourse it's free to visit.

If I can ever convince the wife to get on a plane we will be back. I'll certainly give you a shout. My wife has some family in Gorichem so we have a place to stay. I just have to get her on the plane.
