When i saw this post it reminded me of a thing i saw on the news a couple weeks ago about Newton IA ; there was a spot on about the Maytag Complex was for sale ; for just 1 dollar ; i forgot the details but it had the old Maytag buildings etc ; the company who now owns it- [ not Whirlpool] wants rid of it because it cost so much just to keep up the buildings and grounds ; i used to work for Maytag and was there a few times ; is it still for sale ? maybe you know more of the details ;

Hey Doug, I worked for Maytag also. The Jenn-air branch in Indy. I worked as the Northeast Regional Service Manager and only went to Newton once. I covered 14 states and 2 providences of Canada from 1981 until 1987. Bob
