   New to me unit that was not run in years as stored (3100 hours).
Fresh fluids and 3ptm arms raise instantly when started (before fluid change also). Linkage free and spool valves operate freely. Have cutter on arms and will stay up with unit off and hydraulics in hold position. When tractor shut down, arms will lower within minutes. Can hear pump chatter when bypass engages as arms raise fully.
Bad seal in spool body?
Looking for ideas and on Blackberry so may just have sent this twice!

	Position control linkage stuck holding position/traction booster valve in. Rear lever closest to seat is position control and the linkage usually freezes up on the lever under the panel that pushes the valve in to control hieght.

	Thanks Travis, I'll take another look as it appeared everything was moving freely. By moving all controls repeatedly after my posting last night, it now raises the 1100 # cutter more slowly, but still raises the arms to the fullly raised position within a few minutes. The cutter on the 3-pt. will stay up in the hold position when the tractor is shut off, but still will not lower after shutting the tractor off and bleeds down within 5-10 minutes. Not easy to get at some of the linkages, but I will keep working to get the old gal freed up. Thanks Tim

	Problem found and posting as it may save someone some aggravation down the road; I know I check follow-ups as I pick up plenty that I can use myself. As this tractor sat for maybe years, I started spraying the linkages and freeing up everything I could think of and it sat for another six months "soaking" without being run. The small pin broke that is mounted to a bushing, welded to the hydraulic controls plate underneath. TB Linkage was basically inoperable, causing the arms to raise automatically and the pump continued to cycle. Will be a bear to get at but should be a pretty simple fix. Thanks Tim
