And if I outbid John or anybody else interested, I would be happy to make similar arrangements. The auction would be a great way to support this site, and the show. I know the people who were involved most likely are supportive of both causes.

I also would be open to selling, proceeds to OPOP and Darin. If arrangements were made as Ken suggested, I would also be open to displaying it at such a museum should I end up with the highest bid. I would think it should stay somewhere in the midwest or at least up in that end of the country as that is where Allis had the greatest concentration of tractors/ equipment. Just don't believe too many down here really ever had that many AC products first off, and most of the labor, though not all came from that area of the country.

Just kidding Fred.  I donated and helped, but don't care what is done with it.  Sell it, donate, etc.  I did like the post about splitting between Dales and this website

As a contributor to the project, my vote is to auction it and the proceeds split between OPOP and Darin's site.  Whoever wins the auction can decide what to do with it. Showing it at future gatherings would be nice.  It was fun to participate in the project but I don't need the parts back,  LOL

Parts is parts...part it out and sell it on e-bay!! Just kidding, as someone that is partially vested in this project I support the idea to consign it to Dale's auction with the proceeds splitting between Dale's show and Darrin. Kip

I had no parts to donate, or was not there to help out.  That was my bad!

But, following the post, if I can add a comment, I think auction with money going to be split between Dale and Darin (1 "r" or 2) my bad.  The new owner, by the posts, will, have the money, time needed, and, do the correct thing, display it, and be PROUD!!!

NOW for the best one, can I have a drive on it, or sit in the seat, at least, if I am in the area, for the new owner, what-ever is decided?

Thanks, for letting me put my input on this issue!

Dale and Darin. I would also entertain it going to some sort of AG museum also, but if you guys don't know what to do with it, I'll have a new pole barn going up by May. you can store it in there till you figure out what ya want to do with it! LOL !  I to donated quite a few parts to the cause, and it was a lot of fun for sure! Ya gotta' admit, it was a cool idea to put that Tractor together with parts from all over the world. Does anybody else know of such a feat or event? If so, what did that group do with their "Build-A-Project?
