I don't know if anybody alse here happened to attend this event near Noblesville, IN in 2008 ? I was invited to go with a couple friends in 2008,took pictures and video for them. One of the IH chapters here in Indiana has been trying to get a mile of IH's plowing at one time in the furrow. They were about a thousand feet short, at least how they were measuring, which was diagonally from the front of the very first tractor to the rear of the last plow. Do you guys think that is a fair way to measure it ? Here is more info of their next attempt they are gong to try again in October: http://www.redpowermagazine.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=70173 |

That's a great picture and would be fun to say that you were in it, but it looks dangerous. If for any reason a tractor had to stop, there is a lot of horsepower behind to get stopped so someone doesn't get run over. With that many plows it make me wonder why they didn't plow it all one way.

Man and I though I had a lot of tractors at my plow day. lol
If I did the math right 1 mile is 5,280 feet saying 30 feet per tractor and plow it will take 176 units to make up a mile of tractors and plows to make that come out right.
So are we going to let the red guys beat us to this? I'm in to try this one with all AC's.
