How do you guys set the pump adjustment for running a remote cylinder on a WD ? I've read the op manual 3 times and it doesn't mention a remote cylinder except for delayed lift.
Also, was there ever a stop of any kind on the lift lever for the WD series?
Thanks guys, Tim.

Remote and lift arms all work off same oil so there is no special setting for remote. There is no stop on lever but when pump linkage is correct you will feel the hold position on the quadrent about half way down.

If you have a standard remote connection, the remote works with the lift arms. If you have a transport valve on the remote connection it may need opened up. There is no pump adjustment for the remote cylinders except for the delayed lift for cultivating etc.

There was a "Stop" available for the hydralic quadrant to use when you were using mounted implements and the traction booster. It clamped to the quadrant like a "C" clamp. It's in the parts book, but I've never seen on in real life.
There was also a "Stop/depth control" system that stopped the lift arms from lowering beyond a set point. This was for use with the rear scoop and blade to control depth of cut. Never seen one of these either except in the parts book for the rear scoop.

Ted: When I first started plowing with the 1950 WD Dad had with a sc full mounted 3 bottom plow, he would drive it a round and set the lever where it was for the TB and clamp one of these "C" clamps on the quadrant so I just dropped it down to the stop when i turned on the end and kept plowing.

We have a stop for our quadrant. I'm thinking its dealer item. It has a thumb screw on the back and clamps on. Ryan

Has anyone ever seen the lift arm stop? It bolted under the brake covers, had two stops that went under the lift arms, and a hand crank to set depth. Looked like it would be in the way to mount and dismount a WD/WD45.

The first two pictures are of the manual depth control as pictured in some of the Oxnard manuals. It is not mounted on the tractor, I just laid it where it goes to give you an idea how it would look when mounted. The last two pictures are of the quadrent stop. I posted it a couple of weeks ago. Only a few knew what it was. It is missing the screw. Michael
