what is the worse case if you only get one of two woodruff keyways back in the shaft? I got the one in on the inspection door side but do not see where the other one goes. I can see the slot where it goes in the fork but not the shaft, please help if you can. Thanks

I think you would eventually break the clutch fork, because all of the force of the lever is transmitted through one side of the fork, but force must act on both sides of the fork.

they go into the fork at the same time, so they both have to be lined up.
You may not see the 2nd slot on the shaft because it's "hidden" by the fork.
It may help a little to have them slightly tilted down where they first go in; otherwise, if they're tilted just a tad the other way, you'll be fighting it.
As the shaft/keys slide in, they'll straighten out, but it can be a bear.

I start the shaft in the fork in-tell I can see the first key-way and then cut a half moon pic of zip/lock baggy, lay it in the key-way tap the key in the shaft then slide the shaft on through the fork in-tell the next key-way is in site them repeat on it, then slide the shaft on in the fork. The baggey will hold the keys in the shaft and you can install the shaft with one hand.
