I have installed a seperate loader valve on an 8050. It is load sensing closed center. I did this verses the open center so the pump wouldn't run all the time and tie up a remote. However when you try to use the factory remotes you have to move the joystick at the same time to get it to work. I simply tee'd off right off the pump with the thought that was closed center so this would work. Obviously I'm wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

The new valve has to be a load sensing valve.

When you stroke the new installed valve to send the oil to work, your not getting any fluid due to the oil flow is still going through the primary valve. So it's an open center valve right? I'm not familiar with the 7 & 8 series tractors so I'm just guessing.

From what I have learned so far. The pilot oil which is always flowing, from the load sense line to the drain line until a lever is pulled, then pressure is the built up as needed. I have it tee'd right now so the oil simply goes through the other valve and pressure is not built up. I understand I need the check valve but can't figure out which one or where to get it.

Load sensing valves are closed center. There is no pilot pressure. The main pump is at low pressure until a valve is activated. Pressure the builds and goes to the load sense line and strokes the pump to build pressure. The valves have check valves in the load sense line already.Like I stated in the other post, the load sense lines for each valve have to be tee'd together. The same goes for the pressure. The added valve has to be a load sensing/closed center valve. Nothing else will work.
