My rear main is leaking on my 8070, I am getting a small oil drip of motor oil out the hole in the bell housing. The strange thing is the drip gets worse after I shut the motor off. I am not losing that much oil, it makes more of a mess than anything. Questions Why does it leak more after the motor is off? Oil pressure? Also, do you have to split the tractor to replace that seal?
Thanks |

Flywheel is sturing oil running, then it runs down when shut off. Yes it has to be split to replace. MACK
