The inlet to the carburetor on my B is cracked, split, what is the metal ? Can it be welded or brazed or otherwise fixed? Hate to scrap an otherwise good carburetor.

If it is a Marvel Schebler you might be able to braze it. If it is a Zenith I think I would try JB Weld. Maybe some of the experts will chime in with some better advice.
