8070 PTO housing leaking |

I've got a pretty steady oil drip coming out the bottom of the power take off housing on my 8070. (It's coming out of the housing to the right and up from the PTO shaft, it may actually be the PTO brake housing) Any way, I pulled the outer plate (The one with the test port plugs in it) off and replaced the O ring, but that didn't fix it. It must be coming from deeper. Question, is, what does it entail to dig deeper into it. Thanks, Darrel

Hey, I know this is an old post but what did you figure out on this problem? We are having the same problem and not sure what's going on..tried the o'rings already and no luck.

Boy, I can't remember what I did this morning, much less in 2010! LOL! When I seen this post, and my name beside it, I had to slap myself to see if I was awake. Then I seen the date, and that sort of explained things, but I am sorry, I don't remember what was the cause or the cure. Darrel
