![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Just wondering if anyone has any idea what this tractor is worth. I inherited it from my dad. Thought I would restore one day but have decided that probably won't happen. Probably needs to be overhauled. Not running right now. New battery might do the trick. Has always been shedded. Ballpark estimates? Thanks, Doug

That would be a nice tractor. You've probably already made up your mind, but I encourage you to keep it if you can. Others will have a better idea on the value than me.

If it were me, I would not sell it. #1 it was your father's tractor, #2 D15's are cool little tractors and can be very useful after you have it up and running.

Doug, IT IS YOUR FATHER'S TRACTOR.
Consider carefully. I would do anything to have the first tractor my father sold. Saw it once and idid nothing. Been kicking myself ever since. Don't let that happen tp you. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck, Bill Long |

Not running I'd say $750 to $1500 depending on the tires and rims. If you can get it to run I'd say $1500 to $2500 depending on how it runs and whether it is a gear jumper.

I dont know your situation, and I cant tell you what to do with your tractor, but that 15 has tons of potential, and I also have on of my fathers tractors. A rusty nothing looking wd 45. But I have put some time into it, and absolutely love every minute I get to drive it. I wish my dad could take her for a spin now with my "improvements" lol. But to answer your question... Eldon has it right on.

We on this site have a love of old AC iron. We want to see it restored so that others hopefully someday will come along and find the AC's we loved and breath new life into them again. Your father thought the same way. The proof is an old can that was placed by him over the exhaust pipe to keep water out. It doesn't need to be made showroom fresh over night. Keep it for awhile and work on it now and then. Someday when it is done, you'll be proud to show it off here, and we'll be happy to see it.

Keep the D15 and restore it. I would like a narrow front end for our D15 diesel.

I would keep it, like everyone said it's your dads tractor if you sell it you might never see it again. But like AaronH said "I dont know your situation, and I cant tell you what to do with your tractor". But good luck either way.

Like above, if you can, keep it. Then check back in with us on here, with progress and pictures on getting it running again! |

Just my 2 cents, Denis

I just want to thank everyone who responded to my query regarding my D-15. You guys have done a good job of sending me down memory lane. Therefore, I'm reconsidering selling her. This is the last AC item from the farm. Thanks again to everyone!

I'm going to throw in one last vote of DON'T SELL IT!!! I'm still pretty young at 22 and would do anything to have back the first tractor I drove, and that is something nowhere near as nostalgic as having your father's tractor. Maybe it wasn't something you really had a lot of memories of with your Dad, but it's still something that belonged to him. My own Dad always brings up stories of his Dad from random things he has from his father, from a tie clip to a watch. I have a feeling the memories you have of your father when you see something that was once his are far more valuable than what any collector would be willing to pay for that tractor! And plus, that tractor has a lot of potential to be a neat restored piece of history.

I would keep it but if you do decide to sell it I would be very interested in it. I'd like to have a handy tractor around the farm like that.
