Hi Guys,

I have, what I've found is a very late Allis Chalmers B, built in 1956, serial number 127187.....I can't find anything stating the last B serial number? Any idea what the total B production was?

Thanks!

Yes, that is a neat find.  I have a nice original 1956 model (B126567) and was surprised to find it close to home.  Production numbers really dwindled in the later years.

Dad has 12723X, one of the few '57's built.  It has a full Snap Coupler setup, along with some other interesting tidbits that are unusual.  Does yours have the late style bypass type thermostat housing (pot metal)?  Those are even kind of unusual on CA's...

Thanks Guys,

I was at a local tractor show today and saw it in one of the rows with a "For Sale" sign on it. It looks good, not restored, but very nice with decent rubber and a newer Woods L59 belly mower on it. I knew that it wasn't real early as it has electric start and foot brakes.....I decided to bring it home and just looked up the number not realizing it was so late.

I'll have to inspect it tomorrow for oddities.

Thanks, Rob
