Any ideas where I might find replacement hood strap retention screws as well as hood bolts?  I like the old style, slightly rounded, accepts flat head screwdriver.  Thanks.

Any parts vender that sells AC parts will have the hood strap screws. As far as the other hood bolts, some use hex head bolts and others use slotted head screws. Make sure on the top 2 screws to the radiator they are not too long or they will go right through the radiator.

Thanks for your prompt reply.  I'm looking for 2 strap retention screws and 10 round head hood screws (2 spares).  Are they the same length over the radiator?  Let me know what you need.

The prim and proper hood bolt is called a truss head screw. Years ago I bought a couple boxes of them, 1/2" and 3/4" long. Short ones go on B-Cs and on top of the radiator on a WD or WC. Long ones are used on the sides on a WD or WC and although not nessasary its a whole lot easier to get a washer and nut started on them.

Try McMaster-Carr or Columbus Fasteners.  I seem to remember that the bolts that go close to the radiator are shorter.

The strap had 1/4 - 20 fillister head screws. The sheet metal were probably 5/16 -18 pan head or truss head screws.
