Last night after a few chores. I had a glass of sweet tea and really enjoying the weather.
I heard something coming down the road. I watched as an old Jeep went by with a man sitting behind the wheel with a young boy in his lap steering the old rig.
That boy was happy. It made me happy to see this. Don’t see much like this anymore.
Wonder who in the neighborhood got a new old Jeep?
It went by twice.

Well, Thad,,,ya'll are fortunate in that you just won't see that sort of happenings in the bigger cities,,,people are in so danged much of a hurry they will not slow down to enjoy the simple things in life that really matter,,,,,!
As an update,, I went to see my PCP yesterday for follow up on that shoulder and she tells me it is doing great and almost have all mobility back just prolly need a few more daysClap
I been cleaning out the garage and it's amazing how much "stuff" one can accumulate thinking  "I may need that some day" ain't it? Well, I looked the other way on a lot of stuff and have hauled a bunch to dump and let some other "scrounger" haul it to their house,,,,LOLLOL
Maybe by this weekend, ole Red can finally  be put outside ,,, I'm planning on a big yard sale of mostly 55 Chevy extra parts soon and have already had calls for pricing,,,,still looking for that rear bumper I can't seem to locate,,,,,,,Wink

DJ, Figured you were just going to give her some sun... Couldn't see you selling the ol girl.
 Was just teasin ye some.

Also figured out why two cylinders quit on a 3800 engine, was the ICM. Now that engine is back to running on all 6...   Then found rusted brake lines from master cylinder to the anti-lock block... bubble fittings an metric lines to boot. Drilled fittings out to accept 1/4" lines and did first step in doing double flare and they worked first time and didn't leak.    So it was a good day.
