This photo was included in a recent photo album posted on the forum from the Mt.Pleasant show. The clutch with the long handle, behind the gearbox, is that what's called a Sherman box ? A couple of model WC's have turned up in NZ with these boxes and was just wondering whether they're factory or after market installed ? Sorry, I can't get the photo to post vertical.

I don't know who made them but the dry hand clutch was an after-market add-on. Sherman made the over drive and under drive gear boxes that went in that tailshaft area.

It was made at George, Iowa by Sudenga. I only know this because I show one on Ebay.

Nathan, I am so very sorry. I need to proof read better. I should have typed "I only know this because I saw one one Ebay." The sale is long over. It was an unstyled rusted tractor with the hand clutch. It sold for far less then scrap. When I saw it, I even called Sudenga, just to let somebody know about it.
