I have two series one D17's .The first one has a SN 26608 and has two hydraulic lines running from the pump to the rear housing and the other SN 19762 only has one hydraulic line.Can anyone tell me what the difference is ? Thanks

The one that has the two lines is equipped with a transport valve. That is needed to operate larger semi-mounted snap coupler equipment.

Thank you so much for clarifiying that for me.One more question. They are both 1959 models and the newer model has power steering and it has the belt driven pump.Could that be original? Because I was reading on Forum Talk that the belt driven models were on the series three and IV.And the steering wheel has the power steering emblem on it.

Belt driven on that age tractor was added on. Might have had the old governor driven style fail and that's how they fixed it, OR it didn't have power steering to begin with and got it added on after 1962.
