Got about 2.5 acres of ground to put a little rye in.
Now, its a little sand ground on the high parts but mostly a mix and have a couple low wet spots that hopefully will dry in the next day. Going to cultipack before planting. My question is, if I plant this on a seed bed that is cultipacked (not sure on my depth I have only used planter a few times) should I be concerned if we get 3 days of rain following the planting? Its been a really, really wet summer here. Wondering if the rain would ruin germination and drive the seed into the ground too far? Thanks for the help! Edited by Don(MI) - 08 Sep 2014 at 5:00am |
