Got a customer who had his CA starter rebuilt.  Installed it and it does not seem to reach the ring gear.  Question is....are the CA's starter nose the same as a B or C as far as length goes.  Starter did not work before rebuild so no idea if it would reach or not before rebuild.  Den

I have a B,C and a CA and the starters are interchangeable.
You say the starter didn't work before the rebuild? Quite possibly it's not a starter for a B,C or CA.

All I really know is what the guy told me on the phone...mostly wondering if the starters were interchangeable. I'll let him know what you guys have suggested.
As far as the starter goes...he bought the tractor knowing that the starter did not work and he would have to get it fixed.  Thanks  Den
