The fun can now start. Got the tractor back to the house from the farm. I was lucky that my shop is downhill so gravity helped most of the way into the shop with the help of a come-along the last 10 feet or so. Here's a few pictures.

The shop is heated thank goodness.
I learned bunches on doing the Ferguson so I'm hopefull this one will turn out even better. Maybe get it from a 10 foot paint job to a 5 foot paint job. LOL I've been scrapping out all the heavy dirt so now the floor is covered with it. I may end up pushing it back out of the shop to use the pressure washer on it next.

Good luck! I've been putting off doing my Dad's 37 WC trying to learn how to do it right! After doing a MM Z, a Farmall H, and a WD, I am running out of excuses.

The oil filter has 10-88 marked on top of it when dad changed it last. You know the oil was kind of black when I pulled the drain plug. LOL

Greg it did just fit. For the Ferguson I had to remove the doors to get it in and the WD45 was 5 inches wider even with the rims spun all the way in. That meant that the WD45 sat on the trailer in the barn @ the farm since May to allow me time to widen the doors. If you look close you can see the 9 inch spacer panel bolted to the one door. It was a whole bunch of work to remove the door frame and rebuild it 9 inches wider and then make the filler panel and get it to not look like crud. Two 36 inch doors plus the 9 inches gives me 81 inches now. I didn't even need to pull the doors to get her in.

Lookin' good so far, Stan...
The tires have air in them, and it looks (from the pix anyway) that the air actually stays IN them... that's a good sign. Engine still turn, or is it stuck? If it turns, it wouldn't be long 'fore I'd have a running engine that could bumble it's way into and out of the shop on it's own... One thing I've considered building... for a while now... is a gadget that connects to the PTO shaft... that has an electric motor, or mebbie a small gas motor... I could slap it on the PTO, depress the clutch pedal, put the transmission in low gear, and use the gadget to creep an engine-challenged tractor out of one location, onto a trailer, and off of a trailer, into a workshop... One'a these days... |

The rear tires thou dirty are new. Still has the little tit's on them.
The engine is stuck. All summer long on each visit to the farm I would add a mixture of ATF, acetone, ATF, Deep Creep, Liquid Wrench, MMO and PB Blaster. She's still stuck.
Getting it around the tree and aligned with the shop door was fun as the steering is disconnected so I used a 2X4 between the front tires to turn her. It has factory power steering but it's locked up also so I removed it in order to get the wheels to steer with the 2X4.
