The B worked hard the last two weekends and we enjoyed every minute of it!  Hope you enjoy the pictures.  

Please feel free to give advice as I am new to most of this.  Also, if anyone know what type of valve I could use to direct the flow of the hydraulic pump so that I can use either the loader of 3-point without disconnecting, please post a link, I would very much appreciate it.  

Started Saturday off with a little brush hogging.  I ended up doing a four acre field that has not been cut in five years and widened and cut a few new trails to walk on out back. Anyone recognize what type and model brush hog that is, I need to replace the wheel bearings.


Next, I plowed up about an acre total between the three spots. I even managed to get stuck once!  Maybe I was plowing a little too deep, lol.  Anyway, does anyone know what model AC plow this is, what size it is and what year it may have been made?  I'd like to purchase the manual for it.


The next day I disced the field and went over it with a spring tooth harrow (drag).  The B did all of this on one take of gas, I was impressed! Also, does anyone know the make and model of the disk and drag?  They both have the letters PA with numbers stamped on them.

I ended the day by taking the dog for a walk, not that she is ever far away from the B while it is running!


Today I spread 800 + lbs of lime and tomorrow we will seed 180 lbs of winter rye, 120 lbs of spring oats, 80 lbs of winter peas, 24 lbs of red clover, and 10 pounds of radishes.

Dean, I installed a diverter valve on my CA to allow me to use either the front snowblower lift or the rear 3 pt. The valve will hold either lift in up position when the other is selected and the  up and down is then operated by the original lift control.
There are differences between the B and the CA in that the CA pump has a higher volume output. It must be painfully slow lifting that loader with the original B pump?

I have never seen a B using a bushhog before, bet there isn't any carbon on the plugs of that old girl after all that work! Thanks for sharing the pictures looks like a nice little field.

I like seeing the old tractors still working.
You might watch out for that hole next year. lol
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

You need a two way valve. There was one that came on some of the b/c's not sure how common they are. I have one. I believe they were used for the two way plows

Thanks! I think I saw pictures in another thread. Now that I know what the valve is called, I can start looking for one online. 

The loader is very slow. Actually, I use it more to counterbalance heavy loads on the 3 point. I'm not sure if I want to install a pump on the crank like Steve has to give the tractor live hydro or look for some B engine and wishbone weights.

Dean,  It is GREAT to see my favorite in action.  Really hard work that was done the old fashioned way by bush hogging, plowing, disking,  harrowing, and spreading lime. 
Like the arrangement for the loader.
