I have a new to me AC HD4, It needs oils changed as they are "milk".
I have found the sticker that tells what goes where and what it is. But some of it is "RIB" = "read in book" and others confuses me,
The converter oil says use "A" type. I found hydraulic oil thats AW ISO 68 and ISO 100 in my shop. Is this the right stuff?  what do I use?
next the hydraulic reservoir for the loader rams say use SAE 10-30w.
Its not hydraulic oil? Standard motor oil? Is this correct?
I have no numbers for filters or anything really.
Thanks, Anything you can do to help is really Great.

The type "A" is ATF.  My books are not here but over at the location of my HD-4 or I could give you the spec for all the oils.

Type A in torque converter, hyd fluid in hyd reservoir,I like Rotella 15-40 in engine, 90 wt gear oil in finals. Rollers use 90 weight with button fitting if not changed. HTH Tracy Martin

they called for 10/30 as the hyd oil has to be a good anti-foam and anti-wear property also.
Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.
