I'm looking at purchasing a 190xt series 3 or a 200 and was wondering what the strengths and weaknesses are of the two.  I know that they have a tendency to jump out of 4th gear is there anything else to look out for?

Thanks

Theres really not much difference in these models , both have the  big rear end and axles , 200 has a little better colling feature , 7 blade fan I think -  i have a 190 xt series 3 i am thinking of selling , its got a 200 engine , runs great and kinda close to you , its a 4 th gear jumper , but i,m trying to fix that cause i hate that problem !!

The 200 has larger bull gears and differential than the 190XT series III. They also had the improved 4th gear to remedy the jumping out of gear.
The engine had a better oiling system because of the crank driven oil pump instead of the cam driven one.
There are other differances depending on if it is an early or a late 200.
My 190XT and 200 both have the same fan.
