Good to see the Gleaners hard a work!  I grew up with CII's L's, L2's, and L3's!  The L3 was my favorite with the hydro and big engine.  Soybeans would always make them growl! I always thought they cleaned grain with the best of them!! Especially wheat and corn!

This third picture was one I took of my father in his Gleaner E.  This picture was used in the Gleaner history book that AGCO put out a few years ago.  I like the first picture and the second, too.

Our "E" came from the factory without a cab. We put on a Full Vision cab in the late 70's. A great little combine!! Ryan

I remember cutting beans with the "E" and ran across a groundhog that must have been on a suicide mission. It ran as fast as it could right at me and into the grain platform!! And yes, the cylinder door blew open!!! Ryan

I think I've posted these photos before or very similar ones but here is m 1967 E in very rained on oats in 2010. With all the wet slugs I got very good at unplugging the cylinder. Man it was hot too.

My L2 in 2010.

Uncles orange stripe R40 the day he got it a couple years ago, 2009. That's Jerry from Marzolf Implement standing.
