My cousin sent me some goodies from Ohio last week wrapped in a Farm and Dairy.  The cookies were good! Anyway, did anyone attend the Dec 27th auction in St Anne, Ill?  I see there were several AC tractors, including a G.  Just wondering what prices are in that area and if any one in the "family" got an early Christmas gift!

I went to the sale. Alot of the tractors were bid back in. They did sell some because I bought the 175 diesel. I know a guy bought the 220 for 7800.00 The other tractors that I saw sell were about right.

That means that they had a "shill" bidder in the crowd that ran them up to a higher price. Probably a friend of the seller. Some dishonest auctioneers pick fake bids out of the air to run them up.We had one years ago tha did it, he always hollered "Sold! to Mr Neeves!" Us locals knew what was going on, but the people from far away got duped. Not a good thing but it goes on a lot at consignment sales. I always prefer estate sales.Dead guys dont bid.
sometimes I walk out to my shop and look around and think "Who's the idiot that owns this place?"
