    Posted: 13 Dec 2011 at 7:58am
We just bought a WD 45 and are looking for a service manual. Have found a few on different sites, but the amount of pages advertised is quite different. We have gotten from around 80 pages to about 170 pages. Is more always the better book? Anyone know where a non-mechanic can get a book that will get us through this project?

Thank You,

Paul

You can get your manuals from Darrin Stratton who owns this site .
I got my WD/WD-45 and my D-17 manuals here.

Just click on "Allis Store" at the top of this page.

And by the way, welcome to the best tractor website on the net, and to the "Allis family"!!

No don't go exaggerating there Albert Phil.
The best sites have chicks. eh!!!

Pssilseth, Buy as many different ones that you can find.
They all have some info that the others don't have.
Allis Chalmers and I&T manuals will probably do the job for you.
Get the Operating manual also.
You can look up parts on the AGCO Online Parts Books.

Thanks for all the responses. The Allis site appears to be out of the WD 45 service manual. How do you find Darrin Stratton? I am so new to this site and am not a wiz at websites as it is.
Thanks for the help.

Now here is a real good deal.
4 manuals on a CD with free shipping.
Free is good.

The I&T manuals can be had at almost any TSC and are ok. They aren't as comprehensive as the AC manuals but will more than likely cover anything you'll get into.

The difference in pages in the WD45 manuals is because some are just the manual, and some have both the manual and parts illustrations together, which is more help yet.
