   I see a Roll Over Plow at auction - it looks like a 50 series - Did AC make 60 or 70 or 80 series plows in Role Over's ??

	I know dad got his with his WD45 .. so we are talking 1955 or so ?.. always been shedded .. maybe i can see a number somewhere ?

	My book shows 70s and 80, but I've not noticed 50 or 60 in roll over. There usually aren't numbers on the plow frame and some frame parts are used on several models. Generally the 50 has straight plow shanks and in a single sided plow a fixed width. Generally the 60 has angled rigid shanks and in a single sided plow a fixed width. Generally the 70 has angled rigid shanks and in a single sided plow adjustable frame width. Though the parts book I have shows fixed width for the 70 roll over plow. Generally the 80 has angled spring trip shanks and the adjustable frame in the single sided plow. The frame parts in my book for the 70 and 80 roll over plows use the same parts. Also the roll over parts are the same. The difference being that the 70 has rigid angled shanks and the 80 has spring trip shanks. To add to the confusion, it appears the spring trip shanks were available separately and with the 70 and 80 using the same frame bars the spring trip assemblies would bolt to a 60 or 70 frame as well as the 80 frame. And probably could have been ordered to go with the 60 or 70 frame, just like plow bottoms were ordered separately from plow frames. Show a picture and someone here can probably say what model the plow is. Though its not possible to tell a 60 with optional spring shanks from an 80 by my parts book except by the adjustable width in the single sided plow. And that optional spring trip parts page says for 60 or 80. Gerald J.
