My parents drove across it last year on a wd45 that I fixed up for them and put a buddy seat on it so they could ride together. They had so much fun participating in the drive and visiting with other tractor enthusiasts. It was amazing to witness the sea of tractors of every color at the staging area. There were 1370 tractors last year. It is very well organized and lots of good folks involved. The drive over the bridge should be on your bucket list if you like cruising with your tractor.

I always wanted to, but not welcome. I was under the impression passengers were not permitted

They are but you have to have a buddy seat. You cant ride the drawbar or ride in a trailer or anything like that.

And you have to belong to a club that participates in the ride. Reason for this is your club carries the insurance......Owosso tractor parts, the organizer of the bridge crossing, has to be listed on your clubs insurance.

I did it the first year, hauled two semi loads of tractors up for friends and family, good experience and had the only Allis model A there, can't quite find the enthusiasm to do it again.
