I keep getting mice that go and move in around my brake bands, has anyone ever had this problem and what did you do about it?

What model do you have? I have done several brake jobs on WD's and they are usually full of mouse nests.

I have the same problem. I stuffed some steel wool in the hole in the bottom. It can still get air to cool brakes and if the mouse wants to eat though it, well it might need a dentist!!! LOL

Then wouldn't you have bad brakes because of diesel on the bands?

it wears off rather quickly, but the smell stays. just don't smoke for a while ;)

I have a model B and the diesel sounds like a good idea, its annoying as when I redid the brakes 2 years ago I pulled so much mouse nests out of those compartments, and they used to build nests in the tool box , but steel wool fixed that problem. We also have cats but they stay inside.
