Hey folks,

Thought I would share some pictures of the spoils of our latest adventure in Allis Collecting.

More pics can be found here.

Dad bought the Gs out of the Fort Smith, AR area, I bought the D17 SW of OK City.

The 17 came to life with a bit of LP, a battery, and a points file.  That was of course after cleaning out the ants nest in the distributor cap.

One G is complete and ran when parked, the other is missing motor parts, and is only a parts tractor, between the two of them I think we got a pretty good deal, came with two sickle mowers, two plows, two rear tool bars, a disk (not Allis) and a center mounted cultivator.

Here are a couple teasers

I even convinced dad to let me "remove" from his grips the 720, and take it to Colorado with me, so my 8 year old could hone his driving skills, somehow he wasn't convinced I wouldn't be playing with it more.  Needs a drive line bearing replaced, and some engine work, but still runs, and I grew up with this tractor so should his grandson.  :-)
