8050 fuel tank straps

   I am looking for ideas and suggestions  to replace the straps on the fuel tank on our 8050 the left rear is broken and right rear is 1/2 rusted out and of course the it is full of fuel.   Thanks

	My original post was not very clear I was inquiring if anyone has suggestion how to remover and replace the straps. Removing the inside hanger and bolt appears to have little hand access unless the tank is removed to access the inside bolts. This happened yesterday after the dealer was closed I am assuming replacement straps are available Morley

	Morley The replacement straps I priced a couple years ago were somewhere around $265. I took mine off and made new ones out of flat steel, I think they are 2" or 2 1/2" wide, going on memory there, may be wrong. The inside has two bolts or one bolt that holds the strap end that has an angle iron piece on it to another similar mount point on the transmission of the tractor. Then the outside has a longer bolt with a nut on it you remove. I supported the bottom of the tank with a long 4 x 6 on a jack and did the back strap first then the front strap after the back strap was already back in place. They are not hard to do at all. A long extension gets the inside bolts easier. Oh, and blow the dirt out from behind the tank before you loosen off the inside bolts when you are underneath, the dirt will fall all over you...
