Too bad.  There's always a noticeable change in weather pattern right around Lamar, Mo.  Never cared to be driving in a storm between Lamar and Joplin.  Drove right into a  twister once  (thought I was out running it!).

Prayers for that couple.....

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! With all the rain here, I had decided to take a few days off and went camping down in Devils Den AR. We came out of the valley this morning and heard the news. Thank the Lord, my family and our farm is safe, wet, but safe. As Bull noted, the family that were killed are longtime friends and neighbors(about 3 miles from my family farm) and other community members lost huge amounts of property. My prayers go to them and my thanks to you all for your concern.

Hey, Joe! (and everyone else) I'm fine.
I am in Midland, had some thunder storms earlier this week. calling for scattered storms tonight.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Had a heck of a storm blow through here about 6 last night. Youngest son was on the way over here with his little boys and a crosswind hit him and it blew the rear of his dually around on him. Everyone is fine. He got it under control.

Got a creek I have to cross in the driveway. Have 4-3' tubes and 2-2' tubes. Get these gully washer rains and they get plugged with debris and trees. If I can keep them cleaned out it's not a problem. I have depth marked on a tree down there and the other day it flooded while I was at work. Debris was piled up 3'. Haven't been down there this morning. The rest of the driveway is tore up pretty good but not impassable yet.
