Other projects have gotten ahead of this ole D 15 II series two since it was torn down a few years back. I think I am serious about getting it off the barn floor this time.
On the front crank seal. Surely it goes in with the felt to the front or outboard? Also since I don't have the seal expander referenced in the manual, what do you folks use as a technique to get the seal installed/on without turning the lip over. I can see it is gonna be a challenge after a speedie sleeve is installed. On the oil tubes like the filter base to the block, has anyone come up with a replacement? It appears (even if it is still aavailasble) to get the sleeve one has to buy a nut with each sleeve. thanx
