I am looking at a K that seems to have good final/drive gear? and undercarage but the motor is missing a lot of parts. Tracks look good. Looks to have been a steering wheel modal but no longer has an actual wheel, looks more like two bars attatched to a stering shaft. Anyhow I am looking for info on motor parts and rebuilds but I am having little luck finding any thing so far. Main thing is, What motor(s) would actual fit in/on this thing?
Any and all info is welcomed! Unfortanaly I don't know a lot about crawlers and dozers but am learning fast.![]() |

Google "Allis Chalmers K" There is a You Tube showing the motor
The K was made 1929 to 1943 If you want something to play in the dirt with you should get something that was built in 1950 or newer. |

Thanks Norm that gives me a good idea as to what to expect.
@Dozer. You tube is out between a temperamental laptop and a touchy internet connection I just don't bother. It would mostly be used for trees. and be a nuisance. :p Manly I've been chasing after the k because one its cheap, two its close and they are willing to delver.
