Shop manual, parts catalog, owner's manual don't say. I have measured my '68 at 4-3/8" and made a note in my owner's manual.

Well, I checked again. My note in my owners manual sure is 4.375, but the SM says in print 3.375. So it must be 3.375.

Well Gerald, I was told by a friend (Mike) not to be so hard on you, So in a nice way my tape read 3 3/8" on my 4020 axle. LOL
But the tape can be wrong. LOL

I looked today. My 4020 axle is THREE and three eighths. Must have remembered wrong the day I came home and wrote it in my owners manual. I suppose I should correct that entry.
Now all I need to do is get it running, I turned on the ignition switch and the electric fuel pump did not rattle. Its been about a year and half since it last was run. Guess I have to charge the battery if it has not frozen and split these below zero months. Then change the sprayer tires back to regular tires. Gerald J. |

Hi Gerald,
Please be careful with the frozen batteries, Let them warm up first then charge them up. A frozen battery can explode.
