New to forum and new to Gleaners. I am looking to purchase an L2 combine. Have located one cheap and looks to be in good shape as described by a local contact I know. Except for a shaft that come out of the engine or drive section. I believe the owner said it was the separator shaft. The shaft was missing because it had broken and they had pulled it out and never made the fix. Can anyone tell me what this shaft may be and about how much it cost to replace. I will do the replacement myself. What could have caused the break?
Thank you, Larry |
