KY Hwy 80 East - Windsor - Casey County - Kentucky Photo Taken through the Glass of a Moving Vehicle Saturday_26-April-2014 Red Barn and Green River Knob North side of KY80 - 2/10-mile West of the Pulaski County Line 37.129108°N 84.885581°W Elevation 1,153' In 2014, this barn looks new; in 2024 Satellite view and Street View, it looks sixty-years old. From this barn to the pinnacle of Green River Knob is 2.82-miles at a heading of 53.14°. Green River Knob, in the background, dominates everything within several counties and can be seen from almost anywhere one might be. Cumberland Plateau 13th highest in the state. Elev. 1,817' (some sources say 1,789') West side of KY 837 - South of Mintonville - Barely inside the Casey County Line adjacent to Pulaski County 37.153407°N 84.844948°W In Harlan County, Black Mountain is the highest in Kentucky at 4,139' or 4,145' depending on where you are looking. However, although it is much higher, Black Mountain is surrounded by peaks that are almost as high as it is and therefore is not quite so visible from afar like Green River Knob is.

North Flatwoods Road - Nancy - Pulaski County - Kentucky Photo Taken through the Glass of a Moving Vehicle Saturday_26-April-2014 Big Barn and Three Silos The Big Barn is freestanding, not connected to any of the three silos. The left and center silos are at opposite ends of the same 120-ft-long feedway barn. A drag-chain conveyor runs the length of the barn, distributing silage to an equally long trough on both sides of the conveyor. The right silo, the farthest from the camera, is connected to the right-most farthest 60-ft-long feedway barn. In these 2014 photos, the left silo, which appears to be the largest of the lot, is clean as a whistle; in the 2023 photos, it is almost completely vine-covered from bottom to top.
