I am still in the need for a hood for my "new to me" 645 allis payloader. Can anyone direct me to a salvage yard that could possibly help me? I've tried about 3 of em, and can't get them to call me back to save my hide. I got a used axle and housing for a 444 JD from a salvage yard in Missouri a few years ago, and they were very much on the ball, but I don't remember the name of them or even what town in Missouri they were located in. Maybe some Show Me state folks could shed some lite on that. Thanks, Darrel

Was General Gear & Machine in Idaho that Trev put you onto, one of the yards that didnt call back Darrel? If so, you may get them to reply to email through their website. I think Trev said they were parting one out

Yes, mactractor, that is one of the yards that did not call me back. Three times, I called them and talked to a lady, gave her the info, and she said she would have whoever call me back. Never once heard back from them, but each time I called them, she didn't say they didn't have the parts, but just that someone forgot to handle it.
Joe, I will try them. Thanks, Darrel
