Ok guys its been so long since i have done this a friend of mine had a hd 6 he threw the track i know on the screw typy tenioners they screwed back but im not sure how to release the greese type

Unscrew the grease fitting, and move machine forward and back a coupla times

ok got the yoke back with a comealong went to knock the master pin out and someone welded it so had to take a torch and cut the weld I took a railroad spike driver and a sledge and got the pin out going back out in a bit with a jack and put the track back under the machine

hes got a new set of undercarriage he bought off the scrap yard that was on a burnt hd 6 looks like we will be changing real soon

ok tracks back on the yoke didn't want to push back out so we took it apart I just knew it would be heck finding a new seal but I found 2 in my dads old parts bin put it in and back together and it pumped up sure

He said he traded some firewood for it he said the scrap dealer burns wood in there building and he traded some split cord wood for undercarrage and the fuel injection pump he said the scrap dozer the operators compartment back was burnt his injection pump went out a few years ago and he took it to get it checked out and the shop lost it so he got this one and i put it on a few months and it been running

I knew were the old dozer came from there. Was a logging company that had 3 hd6 and a couple hd11 the old b models they had just put new undercarrage on it and they said they shut it down and somethig shorted out in the battery compartment and it caught fire it sat behind there shop for years i tried to buy it off them but they wanted to keep it over the years the allis got sold off and when they guy died his wife sold everything to a scap company lucky my buddy saw them cutting the blade off and got the undercarrage fefore the cut it up
