My 5010 tractor has a cable operated fuel shutoff. The cable is not stuck but the lever on the injection pump that the cable operates is very hard to move. It is sticky, REAL sticky.
Any help diagnosing and reaping the problem will be appreciated. Thanks!

That should have said a 5015 tractor and "reaping" should be repairing.

I found and corrected the problem. Several applications of PB Blaster on the shaft and some moving it back and forth freed it. Nothing in the area looked rusty but something had it stuck. Free now.
