    Posted: 03 Oct 2016 at 4:58pm
I am not much of a fabricator, but have not been able to locate the top hold down for the battery.

Prob is that the threaded hold down bolts are on the corners.  i am looking at getting one for another tractor and cut and paste the eyelets to fit.

Anyone know of a source for the AC ones?

think I would prefer a bungee cord.  LOL

I am gonna give the recommended guy a try and then go to fabricating if necessary

Also I was thinking maybe I could slip a flat rock outta the crick on top of it.   Wink

Those bungee cords only last a little less then a year holding your battery in place then they break in the middle and you think it is still hooked as both ends are still in place. In a d17 that can result in your battery bouncing into the center hood support and making a scare the crap out of you light show in the middle of the field. I might have made that mistake before....
