Bought a D15 recently and have noticed a noisy power director. At start up I have a lot of whining and if the hand clutch is shifted to the neutral position it goes away. Fluid level has been checked and is fine. Noise is also present while driving in any gear. Any ideas?

If it goes away in natural, must be a rough gear or bearing in transmission. MACK

Thanks Mack. Could it be one of those things in a 50 year old tractor you just learn to live with until it becomes a real problem
