We were cleaning up the D17 (series IV - 1967) and found a power crater decal under the grease on the engine block on the left side.  I know nothing about power craters.  Does the decal mean this the engine has been over hauled with Power Crater pistons or did some D17 come from the factory with these?  Given that the tractor has over 8000 hours I assume it has at least one rebuild.

All D17s came with power crater pistons.

So did most all other tractors in the D series, as well as the WD45 before and the 100 series after.  The decal was put on in the factory and is part of new decal packages as well.
