Can't remember I may have asked this question if so, sorry.

My separator clutch started to act up finishing corn this season. Had to jerk the handle down a few times and then rest my foot on it to finish the last acre. Could only do 2 rows out of 4 or it would slip.

What am I looking at as far as repair? Is there a friction disc in there? Do f's and f2's share the same clutch or any other models?

Can't speak for the F , but we  replaced a friction disc on a F2 LAST FALL. Must admit that the pressure plates had seen better days. Definitly a serial # break to be aware of

I would try adjusting it first. If lining is worn out (which after slipping that much) i'm sure it is, might as well take it off and rebuild for next year.
F and F2 are different clutch and lining.   MACK
